Physical Therapy - Dr. Sue Schuerman
Dr. Sue Schuerman in the Department of Physical Therapy is directing a research study to understand if certain movement characteristics are related to a lower hip bone mineral density and knee osteoarthritis for post menopausal women. Specifically, Dr. Schuerman and the research team of Dr. Janet Dufek (Kinesiology and Nutrition Sciences) and Physical Therapy doctoral students Trustin Anderson, Lindsay Appuglise, and Chandler Squire are looking at specific knee movements during a step down maneuver that may predict weakness of certain lower extremity muscles.
