Hospital Site Visit
As part of the interview/application process to the Radiography Program, prospective students must visit a radiology department in one of our hospital facilities.
Below is a list of those facilities. To make arrangements for the site visit, call the chief clinical instructor listed at the facility of your choice to set up a time for your visit. Our sites are more than happy to have you visit as you may be a prospective student and, later, a prospective employee. During your visit at the hospital, you will be able to observe what radiographers do, talk to practicing radiographers about the field, and observe technologist/patient interactions. You may also ask to observe some imaging areas such as CT (Computed Tomography) and MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) as these are advanced scanning techniques for radiographers who have additional training and certification.
This mandatory visit must be scheduled for a minimum of four hours. When your visit is over, have one of the facility’s clinical instructors sign the hospital Site Visit form. It should then be brought or mailed to the radiography department address and will become part of your application.
Thank you for your interest in radiography.
